In Asteria, a strategic card game for 2, you must choose a side with one goal in mind: become the new ruler of the galaxy!
Adapted from 4X games (exploit, expand, explore and exterminate), Asteria is played in alternating turns composed of 3 steps: gather resources, use action cards, and conflict and maintenance.
“Hold on, you said 4X but there are only 3 steps, the math doesn’t add up”. Well, each action card offers 4 possibilities on each of its sides: exploit is blue, expand is green, explore is purple and exterminate is red. Choosing one side will alter your strategy so make sure to pick the right one at the right time.
