The error messaging should be cleaned up:
(selecting Cards action) "You can't take an irreversible action if there is a mandatory undoable action pending (eg unpayable Venom fee)"
or perhaps a helper text could be provided indicating that a venom token can be cleared in the following ways:
Break
Using the action card
Taking the "Moving the action card to slot 1 for an X token" action on the card
Also begs the question, if I had this exact scenario, but with TWO active venom cards, would it present any additional challenges with the UI. If you have a go at this, you may want to test case it with two venom tokens.
Your question about the side instance of having two venom tokens instead doesn't actually make any difference, if you read the rules. You only have to pay the venom fee if you *don't* discard a venom token that turn, no matter how many you have left.
