It would be great to be able to cancel a choice and select a different one, or to level up with XP, before all the actions are finalized on a turn (or at least before you finalize a guard's actions). There's lots of uses for this but one that's happened to me a few times is using the Blood Mage's Sacrifice or Transfuse abilities

Strongly agree. In particular, when picking a guard to gain experience or to heal, it would be nice to have a cancel button. But more generally, as long as I haven't done anything that gains information (rerolling a die is probably the only such action), it would be extremely convenient to be able to either undo the last click, or just restart the turn.
One common situation being, "The other two dice are useless, so of course I'll select this one... OH WAIT, I should have paid to upgrade that card, first!"
