I tried making a move and undoing it (losing ticket) but the situation did not change.

I have this problem too. I used a ticket to remove a red arrow, route now ends on a blue dot so game asked me to start/continue an expedition. When I try to continue the red route it wants me to start back at the wind rose which would create a second red expedition.
F5 didn't solve the problem, neither did coming back to the game later.

The F5 key does nothing nor does changing media (phone/computer)
This time, this happened by removing the red arrow between the 2 red dots located completely to the east of the map.
