English manual says that you score 7p when you solve the case. Next player solving the case in the same round also gets 7p or 5p when he solves it during the following rounds.

Polish manual adds that the last player remaining gets the same amount of points when he solves the case in the same round as the previous player or his point token is placed in the last free space on the points board (there is even an example in the Polish manual - two players get 7p, one gets 5p, next gets 3p and last one gets 3p if he solves the case in the same round as previous player or 1p if he doesn't solve the case).

But at BGA version last player with unsolved case gets 0 points, this happened in many games, so I believe it's the wrong interpretation of English version rules or a bug.

Unsolved cases yield no points.
