My suggestion for implementation would be to have the current longest continuous path in parenthesis immediately after the points for routes claimed score.
So at the start of the game, each player's score would show as "0(0)", instead of currently "0", and as routes are claimed both scores update.
Hope this is helpful.
Your request is close to this original request in TTR USA but Thoun, the developer, has aleady replied at end of 2023 december in this boardgamearena.com/bug?id=71644 request: "You'll need to convince the publisher" to have this functionnality added.
