i wanted to use the infinite dog button when reorganizing to put all of my dogs from the holding area into a pasture.

nothing happened - no error, no nothing. adding them one by one works, however.

everytime i have tried to use the infinite dog button, it hasnt worked. i am likely only using it when moving the dogs from the holding area however

This is minor since it does not affect gameplay. However it is true for all Caverna games.
If you want to place a dog on a meadow (with or without a stable and/or pasture) and you actually have a dog, a.o. 3 buttons are displayed -1 dog, +1 dog and infinite dog. The infinite dog button is not grayed out, but in all cases it does absolutely nothing.
So, if you want to place 10 dogs in the same meadow you have press +1 dog 10 times.
My suggestion would be to either remove the infinite dog button or to make the button work properly.
