And I experienced the very same which I find very unfair.
When I lost many games to very good players, I still lost points.
Also.. unfair because I wasted 10 mins for nothing. It would be much fair if one gets 1 points at least or if they know in advance that they won't achieve anything.
If you say at the start "With this player you are not scoring even if you win" - then sorry, I would not even start the game, as it's waste of time. Actually I could then start a normal game, not arena and then decide if I want to earn ELO or not, start or not. But I chose Arena for reason. And time is precious.
And the other side, if one not so strong player wins against a strong player, they get lots of scores. The opposite, winning against a low ELO player earns nothing or only 1.
Or if one loses against a stronger player, loses only 1-2 scores, but when a strong player loses against a less strong, they lose lots of scores. Absolutely unfair.
Actually it's something that could be tricked... if I keep losing on purpose in normal games, reaching to 100 ELO.. then I could climb up to any level so quickly in Arena, with few games. Then losing again in normal mode and then climbing up again.
