Just an update. I tried placing the rainbow card elsewhere on the board, but none of the spaces work. In other words, this problem does not just apply to the space previously specified in this report, it appears to apply to all available space.

I got the same error in another game and managed to bypass it by switching from Firefox to Chrome

I did some more testing and in my case at least, the rainbow card move was blocked by the ClearURLs extensions: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearurls/reviews/

Disabling it for the page fix the issue

I ran into this same issue in Chrome. I don't know if a specific addon blocked it, but It worked when I tried Firefox.

I just encountered this bug. I receive, "Unexpected error: BGA service error (reference: GS9 21/01 19:55:02)". Following the error there's the gray at the top with spinning hourglass. When I refresh the page, the bar is there with the prompt "You must place Rainbow" added back. If I try to place the rainbow in a different spot, the same issue occurs.

I use the ClearURLs extension as well. I played a game of this today and was unable to play a Rainbow card, but when I disabled the extension, then I was able to play the Rainbow card.
