The game rules state that when you have a seer of vision, you can make a 3-card combination + seer of visions and IGNORE the monster on top of the card.

At this point in the game I had a 3-card combination, 3 numbers in sequence, that are able to kill a rank 3 bramble, but it had a monster on top of it, I then selected the seer of visions + my 3-card combination to kill that bramble and monster and it did not work.
