Agreed, on a laptop on Firefox, the player boards are far too large and the map is hard to see, particularly with such small units. The interface would be much easier if, like on mobile Firefox, the player boards were above the map and the map was allowed to extend to the full screen width, i.e. no game components share the width space the map is using.

Why would the map be any bigger ? The limiting factor is height, not width.

For reference, here's some screenshots. They are my desktop in a window, desktop in full screen, android phone, and ipad, in that order.

Some notes:

- The desktop views cannot see the triumph track clearly by default.
- The desktop fullscreen view leaves lots of empty space on the right/east side of the map.
- The android phone view places the player mats above the map.
- The ipad view is the most disproportionate in terms of how big the player mats are compared to how small the map is.

To cybrweez:
- Which of these types are you seeing? Can you be more specific in terms of what you see and what you'd like to see?

To Kishkumen:
- Agreed. I believe my screenshot shows exactly what you are talking about.

To Grunt:
- Is your laptop view like my desktop view? If so, I'm not sure I agree that the map is too small. If not, perhaps you could provide a screenshot of what you see. As for putting player mats above the map, I think this works well for phones, but I'm not sure how much people want to be scrolling back and forth between the two on other platforms.

To Tisaac:
- I think the reason some think that the limiting factor is width is because the ipad display seems particularly cramped, with the map shrunk to fit the small width leftover from the player mats.

Addign to this the game is nearly unusable (read: no fun to play) on Ipad.
Player boards dominate, no way to adjust for the width of them or not able to move them aside when not needed.

I agree, on iPad it is a poor experience, it lack an option to switch for the map on big screen, without the 3/4 of the display taken by players boards. Thx

I go to factory with rusvet through village. Get card but then cnat use it. Then i refresh page seems like i never took it. Other player saw on nation card thet i took it but i didn't.
