I have created many "Groups stage" tournaments where stage 2 has mode "Swiss system". (Stage 1 has varying modes, sometimes Round robin, sometimes Swiss system, sometimes Single elimination.) The "number of matches" for stage 2 can be set by the tournament creator. I have noticed that when I set the number of matches for stage 2 at 6 or 10, only 5 matches are played. The tournament ends prematurely after each player has played 5 matches in stage 2.

(However, I found a different tournament where the bug did not manifest; stage 2 was supposed to be played as Swiss system with 4 matches and BGA correctly stopped the tournament after the players had played their fourth match: boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=171743

Stage 2 is supposed to be 20 matches, and 8 rounds have been played so far with the 9th about to begin.
This bug should be fixed now.
