The sequence and on replay.
1) Gear 2 + red (brake) = 1 warning
2) White dice = 1 warning
3) Gear 3 =… too many warnings… crash!
The UI is not clear or bug

Here's the relevant screenshots (imgur.com/a/E6XBSqI)
1) Gear 1 + red(brake) 1 warning
2) Took shortcut at gear 1 (had to be gear 1 because there was a -1 token) This was a coast dice (log doesn't identify it as such
3) rolled gear 2
4) rolled gear 3 1 warning
5) rolled 2nd cost dice. Log says I have too many warnings, but the log and dice roll do not show a warning.
6) log says I took a shortcut. No shortcut in that corner. I get a loss of control and 2 damage.

2024年12月22日 12:37 • I can't say what happened in eulernt's case - I can't say I've ever encountered a phantom shortcut before - but I do want to mention that your second step is another issue that needs to be addressed.
Shortcut speed limits are NEVER changed. There could be 5 mud tokens on the same corner and you'd still be able to drive through the shortcut at any speed up to its limit, so the fact that you thought you had to go through it in 1st is a problem with where those '-1' tokens are placed, or the lack of a tutorial.
Players not knowing which gear dice they can and can't place down then often results in players putting down dice and then hitting the cancel button to pick them back up, and in previous iterations of this implementation, putting down a die that would definitely cause a crash would be remembered by the game logic and would then go on to cause a crash even if it picked back up and used elsewhere instead.
I don't think that's what happened here, but I have absolutely no way of knowing. As I say, it was a bug present in previous versions and is supposedly fixed, but if you recall rearranging your move a lot or accidentally going through the shortcut in 3rd or something, that bug might have returned.

2025年 1月31日 20:02 • happened again on Table #622960623 Move #143 - 145. Not sure if the log is just not showing the dice that are rolled. The log says,

Magnus3740 rolled dice red 1 and gets a warning !" - that shows only one !
The interface could use some work. Maybe a delay so I can see the dice that are rolled before the end of turn summary shows up and blocks my view of everything.
As much as I hate to say it, the GT implementation does a better job of logging the dice that were rolled.

2025年 3月 4日 8:02 • That's down to your leader die having been marked as 'Instant LoC' because you first planned out a move that took you over the jump in 6th with it. Known bug, (as in 'scattered around multiple reports about it I'm sure'), but as for when it'll get addressed...
The only solution is to be very careful about which dice you place and where. The very second you put down a die where it shouldn't be, it is potentially marked as an instant LoC and will never be unmarked as such until you roll and find out the hard way that it was never going to go well.

I take a shortcut and then after that enter a corner.
I roll the dice in the shortcut and blow a tire and get 1 warning symbol
Keep rolling and get a second warning symbol
First die I roll in the corner results in a Loss of Control without a warning rolled (says I already have too many warnings) but then also made a shortcut roll which I succeeded.
So in fact there were two errors, the second shortcut roll which happened in a regular corner going the corner's speed limit, and a loss of control with only two warnings.
