I can't investigate if i don't know which card you played, which cards you paid with, etc...
Probably there is a misunderstanding about the difference between Effect and Bonus. Please check the rules.
Had a card to play any number of ‘bats’ icon for free and it wouldn’t let me play the first ‘bat’ card. The play card action button was greyed out even though was a free card. The turn timed out and I received bad karma as I couldn’t do anything!
