I think there needs to be 2 phases to the Captain Selection part
Phase 1: Each player is privately asked "Would you be willing to be Captain Y/N" (this also gives a moment to review notes)
Phase 2: How it is currently, but with a banner stating who was interested in being Captain (note that this doesn't stop people from voting someone else, just helpful as a guide) • 你的瀏覽器是什麼？

Especially in Turn Based Co-operative (or perhaps a feature solely for co-op) as sometimes you come on and suddenly find you've been surprise voted the captain as maybe you were the last to come on and vote so didn't have time to say anything to the others and you know you just couldn't do it because of the questions / your secret info and it's now too late to let others know not to vote for you

According to the rules, the players are not allowed to discuss anything when voting. That includes saying things like "I (don't) want to be Captain". In the real game, players would just place their tokens simultaneously.
That said, if you'd like to play a game with discussion, the current implementation doesn't prevent you from doing so. Even if you're the last one to vote, you could just ask other players to cancel their votes and reconsider.
