I admit, it's pretty rare to get to 7 and then 7+
"Wer 7 Symbole einer Art besitzt,
nimmt sich das entsprechende Idol und wendet
es, sodass nun die Rückseite sichtbar ist. Ihr
besitzt jetzt ein gesichertes Idol. Es bleibt für
den Rest des Spiels in eurer Stadthälfte liegen."
Which translates to:
"If you have 7 symbols of one type,
take the corresponding idol and turn it over so that the back is now visible.
You now have a secured idol. It remains in your half of the city for the rest of the game."
There is no mention anywhere that you need to have more than 7 symbols to secure an idol. If you have 7 symbols, secure the idol. The bug is about the situation if you go from < 5 symbols to >= 7 symbols in one step. If this doesn't happen in one step, the game adaptation secures the idol as intended.
1. I activate a treasure card that gets me from < 5 to >= 7 treasure symbols. The idol does not get secured.
2. As my second activation, I activate a card where I need to discard treasure (card 90, for example). With this, my treasure symbols decrease to < 7.
The treasure idol does not get secured, as there are less than 7 symbols now.
