"The game is frozen on a player who has quit"
changed to
"The game is wating for a player to take his turn"
ncc1701jv and I need to know if a) an 'admin' can get into the game and take wadeswede's turn. As you noted, framorin was the one who 'quit' and now, according to his 'status' in the game, so has 'wadeswede.' Since ncc1701jv triggered the end game, I am the only one left who needs to take a turn before the game ends (sort of) normally.
Instructions on how to proceed in these circumstances are . . . ambiguous. They indicate that we can 'quit' without penalty, but seem ominous when they go on to recommend that we (paraphrasing) sit tight and see if the missing person shows up.
We just want to end the game and get the final scores, more for personal reasons related to how we responded to game situations as they developed on the board than any burning desire to keep track of those scores.
Hedging my bets (copying message) as I prepare to 'Update' just in case something else goes wrong
