案件沿革
Additional details: the interface appeared to show that my opponent was "thinking", then I received a message that my move had timed out and the game had ended because I quit playing. I was never given the opportunity to move.
To be clear, each incident happened after the game had begun. Moves had already been made by each player, and until the glitch, all players had working connections. One game as a 3 player game, one was a 2 player match. At my end, I had a working internet that allowed me to access other apps on the same Windows laptop that I was using for Century Spice Road. The glitch was evidently something that happened within BoardGameArena's servers, not an internet interruption at my end.
In one of the instances from last night, my opponent messaged me within the game while the problem was occurring, and described the exact same thing happening at his end. At first he asked me whether I was still playing; then, when I explained the interface acted as if it was his turn and he wasn't moving, he explained that he had moved again. At that point, both of us had messages that the other player wasn't moving, even though we had each moved! This increases my suspicion that the issue involves the server incorrectly handling input from the players, not any fault of the players themselves.
I also suspect that it doesn't matter which browser the player uses, because I doubt both players would use the same rare browser. Just in case, though, I will try using a different browser for a while.
