Can the objective tile be checked off immediately as it's completed? It looks like it's only checked off at the last round. Can it be shown as soon as it's done during the game?

I believe this is the case when playing without live scoring. In this particular game, the red player has fulfilled one of the objectives (3+ total worker cost of buildings and 1 bonus tile) after/around move #261.
I assume it's correct that the objectives aren't calculated when playing without live scoring, but the red Xs are confusing.
