During combat, all I can see is "X attacks a farmland" without indicating what cards the attacker has played. This is important information as you may have multiple territories adjacent to the attacker. Knowing what cards were played and how many will be left in the attacker's hand can inform your decision of whether you want to surrender or not because if they've only spent one card then they may have four other cards to use to attack a different territory that you may be more interested in defending.
