Currently, when a player places an architect, the tile is moved to their board immediately and the next tile is revealed. Sometimes, a player misselects which tile they'd like (either they change their mind or they misclick/touch on their device). The current implementation (revealing the tile) makes it so that undoing the selection is impossible.
I'd propose not revealing the next tile until the player confirms their placement on their board. This would allow a player to undo their accidental selection without impacting the game play by introducing additional clicks or confirmations. • 你的瀏覽器是什麼？

This is an every move kind of issue. Personally, I'd even consider suggesting this as a rule change to the physical game, too; you could have the tiles placed upside down (theoretically; I've not seen a physical game to see if the tiles are two sided or have generic artwork on the back) to avoid revealing until the player has finished their turn.

The way to solve this problem is to have the next tile obscured until the tile that was over it is placed on the player board. Easy fix.

The tiles have a facedown side, but the rules clearly indicate that the piles are placed face up. I agree that putting the rest of tiles facedown is a possible solution and it is implemented like that in other platforms, but in my opinion the revealed information of the next tile, even if it is going to be blocked by an architect, can influence your decision about where to place the tile in hand. If you are afraid of misclicking you have a player preference to ask for confirmation.

Hi, I have looked. I cannot find the player preference selection for confirmation to avoid misclicking. Where to I go to change this setting?

It's the "Autoconfirm" option, however it's true that then you will be required to confirm also when you place your tile in your board... Maybe I'll split this preference in two, one to select the tile from the main board and another one for the rest

The "Autoconfirm" only applies to the tile selection. I've just updated the display in the game preferences to make it clearer.
