Is there a limit to how many cards you can trash from your hand? It didn't state a limit in the rules below the game, or in the tutorial. Not sure how many cards I had trashed at move #443, but for the rest of the game I was unable to use an auxiliary action, bonus action, or building to trash a card. It would be nice to state a limit in the rules and tutorial, if there is one.

Yes you can trash up to 5 cards. It's in the appendix now, and you have a counter in your player panel.

there was probably a problem with cache on your browser, now that all games are on new rules, you shouldn't get the problem anymore.
