Without a screenshot, I can only guess you were trying to illegally advance to the 5th space without an additional green token (in addition to the one required for the advanced tech).
If you want to provide a screenshot and move number, I can confirm. Otherwise, it's been working perfectly for years, so you'll understand why I'm lumping this with the other 99% of reports that all turn out to be user error.

I was going to say that. It's my second game and I didn't bare in mind that I would need an additional federation token on its green side. Sorry, this thread can be closed, thanks.

It's already as closed as I can make it, but I appreciate you following up.
Going forward, I implore you to ask questions in the forums before filing a report. We get an exceedingly large number of false reports that steal development efforts away from more pressing issues.
