Observe using Google Chrome on Windows 10 64 Bit. Constantly repeating "You are connected again." during Hotseat player turns that makes the game unstable. Often it will freeze up on turn of the hotseat player and I need to reload the page. This appears consistently when I use the Hotseat feature.

Still an issue for me. My children love to play hotseat _Can't Stop_ but the hotseat player turns take 2-5x longer than my normal user experience. Thank you for investigating and I hope it reproduces itself for you! I ran your analysis tool and all your tests returned green status. Clicks on the buttons often doesn't register for several clicks. It pushes the actual game activity quickly down out of view for the hotseat player with all the "You are connected again" messages.
Something else sometimes happens simultaneously: the "dots" that represent current progress don't get reflected until the second movement up a column. E.g., it would take 2 rolls of 7 to see a black token appear. Not sure how/why it doesn't reproduce itself for you when I experience it with every play :- /

Forgot to mention - experiencing with Chrome browser on Windows 10. F5 does not reset the experience for the hotseat player.
If the hotseat player wins, the messages continue even after no game choices are available to be taken.
Not sure if this contributes to the problem or not, but the hotseat player is listed as being French (while I am not.) boardgamearena.com/7/cantstop?table=103932331

Consistently occurred with hotseat player, both during Race for the Galaxy and Stone Age. Causes glitches and bugs and we need to reload the entire game to move past the bugs. Used Chrome.

Constant repetition of "You are connected again" always happens for my hotseat friend, on Google Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Mac 10.13.6. F5 doesn't fix the problem and it interrupts the logs dramatically. E.g. Solar Storm #116494314 but the replay does not show what happens unfortunately

I also get this on Window on Chrome Version 97.0.4692.71 (Official Build) (64-bit), as well as on a Chromebook.
Only hotseat games have this issue.. Refresh with F5 does't fix it, it still keeps happening.
Floods the log making it impossible to review the history of the game updates.

Ye gods, this is extremely annoying, and makes me hesitant to consider hotseat play at all. And there's no justification for it -- even if the system is truly sensing some repeating condition like that, it's sufficient to say something like "Last message repeated {N} times" instead of listing each one.

I know this is an old report but this happens to me as well on normal mode and not hot seat.
I get the "server timeout" and "you are connected again" every two seconds or so in all of my games but some games, particularly Lewis & Clark and Quetzel are very bad. At one point, I couldn't play one of my Lewis & Clark games because when I say "Done and end turn" I get the message and my turn starts from the beginning as if I haven't taken my turn at all. Very frustrating.
I use Firefox (the latest version, I don't know what it is) and I have updated it to see if it fixes the problem. It doesn't.
F5 did not solve the problem, nor did closing and opening my BGA.

I just had this happen as well, my children and I were playing hotseat, and the message "you are connected again" appears over and over. It even got to the point where we couldn't play anymore without refreshing the browser every few minutes. Using Chrome 101.0.4951.67 on Windows 10.

Just tried a hotseat game and run into this bug. I find it amazing it was around for over 2 years and it wasn't even acknowledged. Heck, just adding a simple option to turn off that message would be better than nothing, even if you can't reproduce it.

The same happened here during 7 Wonders Duel Hot seat. It was so annoying. At first, the game progression was obstructed. But with an F5, it was at least playable. But the error was there in the log constantly.

This is still happening. It affects every game when playing Hot Seat. This makes some games a lot more challenging to play because you need to see the log info that is getting buried under line after line of useless notification.
If this is something that the devs cannot recreate, could this be because it's related to the name assigned during Hot Seat? e.g. does it maybe only affect Hot Seats that are using a name that appears somewhere else on the site? Our preferred hotseat names are "them" and "dudeonacouch"

Thought I'd check out the new database of games, so set up a 'hot-seat' game as a test. I then started getting the "you are connected again" message every second. Thought it might be a problem on my tablet (Samsung Android using Chrome browser), so tried again on desktop PC (Windows 10, Firefox browser) and found exactly the same.
