What would you like how it should look? For me it looks ok.
I personally like that all elements are near to each other.
Only possible change perhaps would be, to make the cards less overlapping for big screens, but I don't think, that would be a big advantage.

Ok ok, it's just that's the first and only game on BGA using this display and I wasn't sure if it was intentional

If you have another similar game, which does it more as you like, you're welcome to attach a screenshot, perhaps you could convince me. I don't have such a wide screen, mine is 1280x1024.

Did you do something with trying to fix this? Suddenly the player list and game log columns are overlapping my game.

I did experience that, too, when activated the BGA option to display the game-log in an extra column right to the players. I am not sure, but I think, this could be a bug on the BGA plattform. I will have to have a closer look.

I tried hard to work around this, but it seems to be a BGA layout bug, when activating the log as second column.
