Either nothing happens at all, or it brings up the role card that explains what the role does, but does not let me choose that role.

案件沿革
Sometimes I was able to select the role after repeatedly trying but it would take 5 - 15 minutes.
I ended up having to use a different device to play the game. This happened in the current game and also the previous tanle of Puerto Rico.
I ask that this essential phase of Puerto Rico be properly implemented, with cards showing the available roles, and not simple and shabby lines of text as at present. Similarly, when a role was not taken during the previous round, the card should receive an additional doubloon represented by the image of a piece in accordance with the game material.
A single press means "hover": it triggers displaying the tooltip for the role.
Two quick successive presses mean a click: it triggers the role.
So unfortunately, it's not something we can fix; ideally Apple would update their browser to adopt the more general convention of a single press meaning a click and a long press meaning "hover" but that's completely in their hands.
