案件沿革
Shuffle the 40 large playing cards and distribute them face down and equally to all crew members. If there are three of you playing, one person will get one more card than the rest. After the last trick, the card that is left remains unplayed.
The main rules are definitely without this variant. As an option for challengers this is fine, but the variant should not be forced.
I do agree that it *is* a variant, and the option to "go either way" should be present. But the current 3p is a better default.
I would like it to be offered as an option for either as it is, or the full pack dealt out if that is possible. If not, then correct the rules description on the page to reflect what is implemented.
Having said that, I quite liked this variant!
That said, I find the three-suite variant to be both challenging and frustrating; you have to concentrate and count along, but also the odds of getting an impossible distribution seem high.
I will also say that we bunked our first few missions in the three-player game because we kept waiting to be able to throw away on green, but of course green never appeared. It wasn't at all clear to us what was going on; I had to look up this ticket to realize the variant even existed and was intentionally pre-selected. Not a good experience.
