By the way, current implementation uses an outdated dictionary (2014).
Is there any problem with dictionary update? (eg. restrictions from publisher)
There is one newer version of OCTWL (OCTWL2016) with some minor changes. However, there doesn't appear to be a free (and legally usable) copy of this. That's the main problem: free, legal, quality digital word lists. I didn't find any better than the ones I'm using. If you find something, please let me know.
For what it's worth, the verb "unassign" is not in common use. Computer programmers (of which I am one, obviously) do sometimes use it with a technical meaning, but it has very low usage among ordinary English text (according to, for example, the Google Ngram viewer).
But the Official Scrabble dictionary listed "Pizzazzes", even though the word is actually impossible using the existing Scrabble tiles.
A free version of an updated dictionary is available via www.scrabbleplayers.org/w/NWL2020 putting it to 2020 - while 2023 is not yet legal.
There are some words that have been removed due to being slurs, so may trigger the Board Game Arena moderation on completion - breaking the game. I have no wish to create these effects on purpose.
