案件沿革
Having to select an extra portal at the end just seems like a waste of time - it's not like you're going to do anything with it, and it doesn't have any strategic advantage to stop the other player getting that portal or not (even if they're also completing portals).
Could you give an example for that? Is there anything that gives points for nonfinished portals?
Say
1. The seventh portal (A) opened allows placing more crystals.
2. These are used to complete the portal (B) that allows opening another portal.
2a. After this the replacement for portal (A) is chosen (C)
3. When resolving portal (B) one could finish portal (C), which was selected after the seventh portal was opened.
I guess it should stay as it is.
I have long agreed with this sentiment that choosing the extra portal at the end is a bit of a time sink. However, I've left it as is in the event that someone came up with some scenario where it is important. It may be possible under the restricted scenario of being the very last player to open a portal and the portal does not permit extra bonus crystals (or bonus portal openings). I believe that scenario it would be safe to just end game and not force player to choose an extra portal. I will consider this.
Having said that, I just finished a table where I completed 9 cards on my last go, so I can't exactly say it's not *meaningful*, albeit maybe a bit redundant because at that point if you have the right cards for those (complete the open a portal card via bonus crystals portal and open another portal) you probably had more than enough points for a sure win.
