Pride(purple) Card: The winner of the
trick takes one trick (two cards) from
their opponent.

This is not the rule : the effect of Purple Potion allows the winner of the trick to steal a PREVIOUS trick won by opponent. So when opponent didn't score any trick yet, the Purple Potion has no effect.
