Since rounds are an important unit in Balloon Pop!, because all players will have the same number of turns before each of the three scoring breaks, it would be nice to have an indication of who played first.

A couple of ideas for how you might do this:
Martian Dice gives all players numbers in their player area in the right-side column, starting with the first player as "1":

I think that would be a nice way to do it, but if you don't care for that idea, a different approach is taken in Letter Tycoon, which gives the first player a zeppelin-token in their player area in the right-side column:
