Hi! This happened to me too -- it's actually happened a number of times in Via Magica games but I never bothered to report it before, but this is at least the 4th time this has happened to me I think.

For me (this latest time) it happened on Table #170232242. Moves #104-106. An Earth element was drawn, it showed on my computer that I placed that crystal and put it on the Portal card (and it should have completed the portal), it said it recorded my move, but then it moved onto the next turn like I passed and did not record that I had placed that crystal or completed the card.

No error message appeared. I'm using Chrome Version 90.0.4430.85

Hi! I just reported this happening on my last game, and it did it again on the very next game. Table #170240450. Move #40-41. This time it affected all players, no one's move was registered when we placed crystals. We talked about it in the chat, and one player said it has happened frequently to them lately.

Hi! Doing another report of the same thing - Table #170536956. Moves #123-126. We talked about it in the chat -- all players thought they placed a water and that the move was recorded, but then it did not record anyone's move or crystal placement. Thanks!

I select a crystal brown and want to play it, but my turn doesn't count.
It vas suppose to close a portal, but doesn't and the game continue.

This has happened to me at least once in the majority of games I've played over the last few weeks. It's happened at least 8 times.
This is clearly an issue that is getting worse.
I think it might help if the game was made kind of turn based. It may be happening when two players are trying to make a move at the exact same time.

Again in table table=244499356 movement #62/63. You can see that a shadow appears, both players had a shadow but none of the played. Why? Because of the bug.
Maybe the developers cannot reproduce the movement, but they could check the code to see what could cause it? I mean, it is clear that it is a common bug. I am so used to it that I never write a report anymore but you can see that is almost a year old issue.

It happened to both of us on the same turn with a water animus. It meant I couldn't complete a card and might have actually affected the outcome of the game despite it happening to both of us, as it took me about three or four more turns moving crystals around to complete a portal card.

Usually about once per game when you choose a crystal and place it on a valid Animus spot it seems to register but then disappears when the next Animus token is pulled. This happened to both myself and my opponent in my most recent game at table #254851670.

Can this please be prioritized??? This has cost me multiple ARENA games and otherwise RATED games—yes, to the point where if it had registered properly, it would have won me the game. This bug is too much of a game changer and it's not like it reliably affects both parties, and even if it did, the order of the tokens is now messed up and the last animus needed for each party respectively may go to the other person instead of you.

I am literally on the verge of rewatching all of my Via Magica games to find all 20+ (estimated) times this has happened to me if the reason this hasn't been addressed for over a year is because "we don't have enough data to reproduce the bug and address this"

In arena, one win or loss can send you dropping by 10s or 20+ ranks at a time. This needs to be dealt with.

This happens even in turn-based games so I don't believe that's the case.

Why are the developers ignoring this bug? It's getting worse and like so many others have said, if is incredibly unfair thing to happen and had affected many people's rankings AND affects the ELO of the players too unfairly. They're not losing through bad gaming but through bad interfacing.

Turn-based table. Both players were online at the same time, so perhaps it COULD have been a clicking the slot issue, but turn-based doesn't solve such an issue.

A crystal of fire fell out, I pointed out a place for it on the map. The move didn't count. Neither I nor my opponent had a fire crystal on the portal map and the next turn began with a new crystal.

I keep selecting where I want the crystal to be placed but it does not register. It still tells me to select a crystal and place on a animus, or click on Pass or Reset Selection. I have not been able to place crystals during this game. I wish it had a confirm button, or something else to say that your selection has been recorded. Gah! Very frustrating.

Tried moving water to fire space on same card - only allows Reset or Pass, Confirm did not respond not sure if the box is not acknowledging.
