Some possible improvements:
1. Use a clearer symbol or image for the suits
2. Make the suit colour match the text colour

Strange. The log already has text in the suit color (red for hearts and diamonds), and the suit icons are large just like the text. Maybe there's something wrong with the translation of the log strings that's causing them to change in other languages?

There was a superfluous space in the Dutch string, I don't know if that could have an impact though.

In Dutch we also say the suit name first and then the value, could that be a problem?

Yes, the problem was reversing suit and rank. I've updated it so it now works in either order. I've also given you the option to translate the face card letters. Thanks for your help translating!
