"In this game, every day is my birthday, lol " This is downright cheating, not an accident and she sounded proud about it.
Yesterday(May 13) was Ascension Day, and I announced it both times in chat clearly indicating that I knowingly knew that it was Holiday I selected.
My suggestion: when you choose Birthday, pop up window asking if they are sure they're having a birthday and to re-confirm their choice. Obviously some will still cheat, but if the message is added that it doesn't make them more popular if they lie, they might change their mind.
For Holiday, OPTIONALLY they get a text field where they can note down which holiday it is, and it gets noted in the Actions then. -

案件沿革
The birth date from the BGA profile is not accessible in games, and even if it was only a small percentage of players will have it filled in.
We certainly won't be adding a pop-up, that would break the game flow without any added value (they can still "lie")
We discussed this card with the publishers up front, and they said not to take it too seriously and just let players choose an option. Kirsten Looney actually admitted she also makes up holidays in real life ;)
Remember also, it is not always an advantage that they get to play more cards from Today’s Special:
just sit back and wait until one of those cheaters is forced to play a Goal card that makes you win, and have the last laugh.
By the way, regarding the holiday problem: how would you decide if they are lying about a Holiday or special day on this international platform?
