I appreciate the thought behind directly translating the text and it works well enough on the board, but I think this is detrimental for the (beautiful) cards.
The text sometimes doesn't fit (even without taking other languages into account) or the layout isn't really appealing, and it's a bit strange to have the text essentially duplicated: postimg.cc/gallery/tXhSDhD
I would instead suggest using the original images and translating them through tooltips, like in The King's Guild: i.postimg.cc/mrGYYYYn/The-King-s-guild-card.png
In my opinion, these images would do the game more justice:

And even though the text is minuscule, it is so out of touch with the rest of the image that it still distracts: i.postimg.cc/CM6Dj9G2/Viticulture-Dutch-card-text-1.png (compare that to the example from The King's Guild)
Some card names look especially horrible, even though they aren't essential enough to require translation in an overlay: i.postimg.cc/tgyVqbbs/Viticulture-Dutch-card-text-7.png
As for tooltips not always working: 7 Wonders Duel has plenty of (mobile) players, millions of games played, yet barely any tooltip bugs reported: boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1266
In the rare instance where a tooltip wouldn't work, I would expect most players to be able to make do with the English image and in my opinion, it simply isn't worth downgrading everyone's experience for it (especially not for the people who play in English, which is probably the majority).
