What seems to be happening is that the first action I try to take shows me a tooltip instead, but then disables that action. Then choosing a different action activates that action.
I’m making assumptions here, but it looks like that’s what happened just now.
I have to swith to my android Smartphone to do this particular actions (chrome, too )
I have seen similar problems with non-responsive action spaces in other games but usually not as bad as this. T’zolkin comes to mind as another offender, especially on the brown wheel.
I recorded myself trying to select a wake up position for 5 minutes straight. That’s not normal or a minor problem. You can see the space flashing when I touch it (the app recognizes a ‘click’) and sometimes the help text is displayed. Tap location, speed, frequency, hold duration, and force are all varied and occasionally result in zooming or highlighting the web page for copy/paste selection. I'm really shocked you can't reproduce this as it is useless to me to try to play this on an ipad
Boardgame arena is running in DuckDuckGo.
As others have seen it mostly works fine but wont let you select some options some of the time. When you touch the option on the screen you get a solid blue line around it showing the program has recognised the touch but it doesn't activate the action. It mostly occurred for us at the start of the round choosing the start order but also occurred in other game actions. Sometime repeated (20 or so) goes would make it work.
The only solution I've found when this happens is, either play my turn on another device (PC laptop, Android phone), OR based on a recommendation from a friend, using a pen/stylus to take my turn on my iPad. The pens/stylus seems to make the difference in getting the game to recognize the chosen action and move to confirming the action. Why this makes a difference when touching to click with my finger normally works on ALL other games, and at times on Viticulture, and acts like it will work but doesn't trigger the option to confirm, I have NO clue.
