I attempted to place the "Barn" tile between/beneath my Quarryman and Workshop tiles. I clicked "OK" then realized I had not oriented it as I wanted it. I re-clicked the tile and was able to move it to a new location, but then could not get it to go back to where it was. I placed my next tile hoping to be able to edit the other tile (Barn) at that time, but instead it just ended my placement phase, putting my Barn tile on top of my Home tile making my Home tile inaccessible for the rest of the game.

I had the same issue, though the particulars were different for me. I am running Chrome v.48 too. I accidentally placed the "Key mine" tile and accepted its position. When I tried to change this, it allowed me to move the tile then reset it to overlap my "Home 3" tile. I was able to initially move the tile about, but unable to rotate it. The round ended and the "Key mine" tile was stuck over my Home tile. After attempting to return it to its original position and being unable to access my Home tile, I received the generic message that my game had a problem and that I should refresh or press F5. Upon refreshing the page, everything was as it should be (with the "Key mine" tile in the originally chosen position) and the game went smoothly from there.

I was able to recreate both the problem and solution later in the game with other tiles.

Had the same issue. Lost two tiles while trying to reposition after accidentally confirming bad placement. One of them covered up my home tile, the other disappeared entirely.

Had a similar thing happen to me: I was fumbling around placing tiles and at one point my home tile.... vanished underneath a new tile :( ....

This happened to me.

I was trying to place my tiles when I accidentally moved one.

It covered up the home tile and I couldn't move it. Fortunately when I refreshed the game it appeared back where it originally was.

This happened, but I had already clicked OK to confirm my tile placement. I could still select it and move it around, but when I clicked OK again, the interface asked me to reload, and the tile would go back to where I originally put it.
Also, could you add in a function to allow you to change where you placed your tiles even after you confirm them individually?

I was trying to place the Stone Yard, which resulted in it being placed on my home tile. F5 did not fix the error.

I wonder if it would be worth having the choice to undo the placement (only immediately of course).

Similar thing happened to me in #106053724. My home tile had 3 gold, then I accidentally covered it with mercer's guild and 3 different resources and the gold got stuck under.

I played half the game thinking that my home tile had completely gone and there was no way for me to do transport within my own village.

This might help: game 255107932 move 53. I placed the Farrier, then picked up and accidently let go as it passed over my Home tile. I could pick it up but it would not allow me to place it in the location I had originally put it in. It could go elsewhere. I refreshed the page and this fixed the problem.
