It is easy to click on the wrong space when placing a stone. The game would be improved if there was a move confirmation button before a move is finalized.

If some people prefer to play without move confirmations, then this could be an option at game creation, but I think the default should be for it to be enabled.

It is already implemented. Check the player preference panel.
The default should be 'Disabled' because the bulk of games are real-time after going beta.
Turn-based games constitute less than 10% of tables (I didn't notice this before starting game development).
And... most real time players don't like confirmation steps killing the tempo.
Even got 1-star bombed from another game instantly when I changed the confirmation default to be enabled.
