I wanted to Move an ant

I considered moving an ant but cancelled it. The ant remained blinking. I then concedered placing a beetle and both the beetle and ant were blinking. I clicked on the ant (to cancel the beetle) but the placement of the beetle was confirmed by touching the ant! This same thing has happened twice now with different bugs... Blinking bugs even tho they were cancelled
