Same as above. Can't place a tile, can't discard, have to end game. This has to be fixed, since this happens every now and then, although rare incident.

I had the same situation only it was earlier in the game and I had three full-square tiles and none could be placed. We had to abandon the game.

I had the same situation, I got 3 tiles with 4 city sides and I couldn't place it anywhere, I couldn't discard or the game didn't change my tiles for placeable ones. I had to quit the game because I ran out of time

And it was a torunament game so thanks.... (I was good on points and nooow got a lost game cause cant do anything..
You must compensat the gamers i think. (I ll loose ELO points, and got an exit game cause my time will gone and my partner dont click on abandon the game,... and cause its a tournament game i cant abandon on myself. or give up or nothing... just minus points. thaanks

This bug cost me 10% on my reputation, because the only thing left to do was to quit the game so that my opponent (who was blocked) could still get the victory.

I had three tiles all of which were not playable. They were city tiles with all sides city so i couldnot begin a new city and they didnt fit to the one and only open city. So we had to abandon the game because I could not do anything.

Had two tiles with cities on all sides an nowhere to play them. The game needs to incorporate an option for unplayable tiles.

The rules say: In some very rare cases, it may be impossible to place the tile. In those cases, simply return the tile to the box and draw a new one.
In my case, there were no tiles left in the "box" to exchange with. The rules don't seem to address this situation, but it would seem the only option is to just skip the turn.

Same thing happened on Carcassonne table #44087473
I had 3 unplayable tiles; 2 with 4 city-sides and 1 with 3 city-sides and 1 road-side; none was playable.
It was at the start of the game; about move 4 or so.
Luckily the 2 I played with were willing to leave together without penalty.
Please fix this bug.

En l'absence de règle officielle, je propose la règle suivante :
« Si un joueur ne peut jouer aucune tuile de sa main, il montre sa ou ses tuiles aux autres joueurs, puis défausse une tuile de son choix qui est définitivement retirée de la partie face visible. Ce joueur finit son tour normalement en piochant une tuile dans le sac (il ne prend rien si le sac est vide). »

Last turn, both of us had only a cathedral left and there was nowhere to place it. The game behaved correctly in this case: both tiles were discarded and the game ended.
The game probably checks if the tiles are playable only when there is just one left...? In strategic variant, it should check after every turn, because all 3 tiles might be unplayable (not necessarily tiles with 4 city sides).
Just please don't add any discard button that would always be available, it would change the game completely...

Fixed.
Note that before that we used to manage this case with 1 tile in hand (with strategic variant or not), which represent the vast majority of the situation.
Now, a tile is discarded (and a new one is picked) if all tiles in hand cannot be played. If no more tiles are available, the turn of the player is skipped.

Ceci me paraît incorrect tant que la condition de fin de partie reste l'épuisement de toutes les tuiles, celles du sac et dans la main des joueurs. Car, quand tous les joueurs qui n'ont pas encore épuisé les tuiles de leurs mains n'ont plus aucune possibilité de jouer l'une de leurs tuiles, leurs tours seraient passés indéfiniment sans que la partie puisse se terminer.
Ceci me paraît incorrect tant que la condition de fin de partie reste l'épuisement de toutes les tuiles, celles du sac et dans la main des joueurs. Car, quand tous les joueurs qui n'ont pas encore épuisé les tuiles de leurs mains n'ont plus aucune possibilité de jouer l'une de leurs tuiles, leurs tours seraient passés indéfiniment sans que la partie puisse se terminer.

The turn of a player is skipped + a tile is ALWAYS discarded. This way, we make sure the game end in 100% of the cases.
