I’m thinking the developers could create a button that operates similar to the button in Solo (it uses a “let the round begin” button) and other games.
This would allow everyone to see their initial 3-4 cards before play begins.

I figure in the middle of the game is more an issue with the website developers changing the replay coding...there's already lots of bug reports about that. And I know you as game developer can't fix the mid-game replay process. But you could help with this. Other games already have a feature so it wouldn't be difficult to implement.
I'll also add that when it has happened in the middle of the game I've been able to use the replay to go back and see what the card said if I was fast enough. But at the beginning of the game, when I click the replay button, I never see the animation.
