The small variations in black lines makes it hard to see what's going on. There are gray lines where no lines are, then a slightly more gray line for the most recent line, then black lines for all others. I'd remove the lines where there are not lines drawn - this is confiusing and does not match the paper and pencil game. Then make most recently drawn something bright - green maybe. 1) Empty lines are actually visible in most implementations I know of, more or less faintly. This makes sense to me, as it shows that some interaction is possible there. So I am leaving them as they are.
2) I agree the last drawn side is not so distinct; so I have changed into a more visible green.
This fixes the situation for me. Feel free to reopen the report if still unsatisfactory.

This is much improved, but the green is still a bit difficult to see. How about established lines be black and new line you are drawing be red?

Red is the colour of one of the players; using it might lead to misunderstanding from the other player.

I have a similar issue. My phone is always on dark mode because I am autistic and the white screen hurts my eyes. So, all the lines look almost the same on my phone. Some are dark gray and the others are black, so I can't distinguish them. Could you please help with that? Let me know if you need a screenshot or something like that.
