I had the evolution Feline Motor, could never play it. It insisted I had to play it while entering Tokyo (no indication of that on the card, rules say "at any time" for Evolutions). My understanding was I could play it at any time, as it is permanent, then would have the ability to move into Tokyo on other players' turns.

I tried clicking it while entering (still no go) and also while others were entering (also no) and got the same message. Some of the time, the card was greyed out and I could not click it, but even if it wasn't, I was not allowed to play it when clicking on it.

The game doesn't exactly pause during my or other players' entering to allow it either.

Same problem. It is a permanent evoloution and I was only able to play it one time. I was not able to enter Tokyo using the power ever again.

I had Feline Motor in play during another player's turn (and I did not start that turn in Tokyo), but I was not given the opportunity to move into Tokyo when the player in Tokyo left.

I did use the ability once earlier in the same game, so the game might only be allowing players to use it as a one-time ability for some reason even though it's supposed to be permanent.

When it happened in my game, the active player had Chest Thumping in play when they wounded the monster in Tokyo (thereby forcing them to yield tokyo), but Chest Thumping says nothing about taking control of Tokyo, so it seems there should still have been a window of opportunity for Feline Motor to be activated as soon as the other player was forced out, but this was not the case. I'm not sure if this is part of the issue, but figured it was worth mentioning.

I was also only able to use this evolution once.
It let me play it and enter tokyo out of turn once. But never use it again
It should be usable every time a monster leaves Tokyo if it is a permanent evolution

So I can check if it's linked to Chest Thumping as Colossus1012 suggested. I tried reproducing in a standard game and I was able to use the power twice.

In table 344137675 we had multiple of us that were unable to play evolution cards at many points during the game. As well, it kept prompting us to play evolution cards at many times even when it shouldn't (e.g. when we had no evolution cards in hand, when we did but had selected not to be prompted), etc..

In our table, we could only play temporary evolutions, but no one could play permanent evolutions. We drafted them during the initial drafting using the "Mutant Evolutions" variant.

Same here. Couldn't play Perm evolutions in the last two games I played. AND I also had the Feline Motor issue previously. I have to say, it seems to me that it all happened after modifying the "Ask to play evolution" settings (I was annoyed to always have the game stop even when I had nothing to do). But now, even if I set it to ask always, it doesn't let me play Evolutions. The card area looks clickable, but nothing happens. Can confirm. Feline Motor only works once, the very turn you play it from the hand. Then it never prompts for any more uses. Happened in a real game and I have reproduced again in a test game. It is not related to Chest Thumping.

After player "test" leaves Tokyo, I (player "ErikLevin") should have been able to use Feline Motor but I was not given a prompt.

Experiencing this with Feline Motor. It seems to regard it as a temporary evolution where you can't play it in front of you until the necessary trigger to USE it. Then once in front of you, it is a dead card that never gets triggered.

My memory isn't 100% reliable, but I believe I have played games where Feline Motor:
- can never be played
- can be played once
- can be used twice (have only seen this recently, like in the last month)
- I believe one time a player got to use it many times, but maybe it was only twice, and that just seemed like many times compared to 0 or 1.

Also:
- Indefinite times is way too powerful.
- What if Penguin Icy Reflects it? (I think I did that once and it never let me use it.)
