Obviously, in the BGA implementation, it makes it appear that all cards are discarded simultaneously, which is somewhat misleading.

If yes why was it added please?
I can't find it in the official rulebook.
In BGA the cards are discarded simultaneously to prevent players from discarding multiple times during a single turn as clicking card by card is boring and confusing.
