You can also grey-out their background palette (usually white in colour) to further show that this word has been invalidated. I'm using the word "palette" here to refer to the plastic stand that people write their clue on in the physical version of the game.
So I'm asking if it can please be the case with this online version please?
First, you have the publisher of Just One which is Repos Prod. It's their game. They once wanted it on the platform and asked BGA for a person who could develop it. This person was me, a freelance developer who was paid by Repos Prod. It's their task to provide words and set rules. They wanted the game to work exactly like this. And if you want anything in the game to be changed - you need to contact them. If they agree to pay - I will gladly do any improvements. You might probably find a "Contact Us" link on their website. Again, it's Repos Prod website, not BGA.
People who "still keeping implementing "features" that no one asked for" - I guess you refer to people in BGA who care about website. These are completely different company. They want more games on the platform but they do not brainstorm about every single game on the platform about how to make it better (it's about 1k games on the platform, you cannot care about each single one). They develop the website itself.
