In a physical copy of the game, it's very easy to see that you are at or near the end of a resource track. In the BGA version, the tracks don't even exist! There are only numbers in your inventory, so it's very easy to gain resources that put you over the cap, and you lose the excess.
In game 330223579 move 183 I took the 'Gain 2 Science' power action when I was already at 15 science, so I lost the 4 valuable power from III and gained... nothing. Turn over.
So how about a warning when that sort of thing is going to happen? Or even just making the white numbers in your inventory turn red when you're close to the limit? Thanks.

Cost/benefit too high? All ya gotta do is change to colour of the numbers in inventory when they get to max-5. That can't be too hard, right?

No, this was rejected because it was a duplicate of another suggestion.
If you'd like to make the implementation yourself, let me know. I'm maintaining this game as a volunteer, so unless you're also willing to pitch in, you're not really in a position to complain that I'm not doing enough work.
