Comic Sans is really loathed by a lot of people. They are just going to assume your product is bad, simply because of your lazy choice of typeface.

Yeah, I agree as well. Comic sans is just bad for reading and irritating. It is fine if you write a meme or a post card, but it is not suitable for a game, where you have to actually read it for long time.
