This is to reopen bug boardgamearena.com/bug?id=72343 that has been closed as "not a bug".
It is a bug
Illusion react power should have been triggered as it is reacting to same player's power (coral castle immediate victory check).
It would have added either one creature or one dragon, increasing player victory points from Bestriary place of power.
This is confirmed by game designer. See boardgamegeek.com/thread/2864250/article/42128399#42128399
In this game I used coral castle to check victory but it just failed without giving me the option to spend essence for illusion. In consecutive move I used bestiary and it did ask for illusion then. Nothing changed in my play area between these 2 moves.
