2018年 3月 7日 4:44 • It's definitely Free Trade Zone. Game #38350384. Move #157 I built Fifth Order (1-cost Gray World), but it cost 2 settlers. Free Trade Zone is erroneously setting an floor on the price of *all* gray worlds at $2.

Same problem - built high-gravity world and it should have taken one die, but took two, tying up multiple dice on the world below, that should have also been completed in the same turn. I also had free trade zone, and suspect that for grey worlds, it is reducing the build cost by 2, then topping up to 2, even if the cost started at 1. Looks like it’s been a known problem for ages, and it just completely messed me up! Should be an easy fix, would appreciate for future. Many thanks.

i had something similar. had a grey world that was for 1 and had one on it. it didn't drop. i did build a development that had -2 for grey worlds but no less than 2.

2021年 4月 2日 16:03 • I have the same problem right now in my game with table number 159415316, I have a world worth 1, and at least for one or two rounds it is not "built" although a dice is sitting on it all the time. i don't understand that. Should long be ready. It is a grey world. The translation from German would be 5th colony or something like that. When it is ready it gives one red dice ... So I'm missing this dice now for more than one round!

Settle role with 4 dices. Top two worlds are Rebel Warrior Race (Green3) and High Grave World (Gray1)
I also have Galactic Exchange and Free Trade Zone in my tableau.
After settling with 3 dice for RWR, used Galactic Exchange's power to put 2 dices back, and then pitched a white die as per RWR settle bonus. Then the remaining die moved onto HGW but no settle action.
Next time settle is called, 2 dices were on RWR before it settled. And the "phantom" dice was put back into citizenry.

Not sure what move, but towards the end of the game. Had Free Trade Zone, settled Fifth Column, should've cost me one die to settle, but cost me two instead. Pretty sure the cards are not supposed to work against you.

2021年 8月11日 22:30 • Same issue. My friend also experienced it last game. Tile definitely is not intended to make 1 cost worlds more expensive.

2021年 9月10日 17:16 • I have the same bug, and i think that it has to be with the "Free trade zone" tile that gives you -2 for grey worlds and you try to build a world of 1 that technically has to be free but you have to use a die to claim the tile.

2024年 7月25日 13:32 • This isn't actually a bug, just a poorly written rule by the game creator(s). As written, it states at the end (but no fewer than two).... so, as written you can pay no fewer than two even for a 1 cost grey world.
