In the actual game it's possible to write on the board to plan possible links between cities as well as erase and rewrite numbers. Both would really help the gameplay

You can already click on the routes and plan possible links. The undo button suggestion was already given by another user.

It isn't obvious or intuitive that you can click links to plan your route. The lines are also very thin, it's difficult even with a computer mouse.
